The Story

In 1995, Cool Springs Press compiled and published an anthology of works by writers from Williamson County, Tennessee. The works presented in the book were chosen by a panel comprised of local readers. The names on each submitted work were obscured so that the members of the panel could not be prejudiced to choose works exclusively by people who were familiar to them.

The result was an eclectic mix of local talent. I was fortunate enough to have one of my works of short fiction, “Sunbather,” included among the works of other talented authors. I was also fortunate enough to participate in the launch party for the title, at which I and the other authors autographed many copies of the book.

Although Our Voices is now out of print, several copies appear to still be available from marketplace sellers on Amazon.com.
