ScrapeAZon Plugin For WordPress
The ScrapeAZon Plugin for WordPress displays Amazon.com customer reviews of specific products that you choose. You can select the product of your choosing by ASIN, ISBN, UPC, or EAN. Reviews can be displayed by using either a shortcode or the Amazon Reviews widget that will be added to your WordPress installation by the plugin.
You must be a participant in both the Amazon.com Affiliate Program and the Amazon.com Product Advertising API in order to use this plugin. The ScrapeAZon Plugin for WordPress is developed by a third party who is not affiliated with Amazon.com.
The ScrapeAZon Plugin for WordPress is free software that is being released WITHOUT WARRANTY under the Free Software Foundation’s GPL 3.0 license.

The following reviews of my time travel novelette Timecast are retrieved and displayed by the ScrapeAZon Plugin for WordPress:
Hi We have an issue with the iframe only displaying at a default small size even when adding the width and height to the shortcode.
I have managed to fix the issue buy entering the html rather than the shortcode and then adding some css to the iframe to size it.
just wondered if you new what this issue was ?
happens on the test page and on woo product pages. seems fine on a standard page though.
Hello, Pr1moboy.
Thanks for using ScrapeAZon. This issue is occurring on the test page because ScrapeAZon (intentionally) does not load its style sheet on the administration pages. It sounds like the plugin’s style sheets are also not loading on Woo pages, in which case there might be a bug in ScrapeAZon that is preventing that. I will investigate. In the meantime, you can work around the issue by copying the contents of the ScrapeAZon/szstyles.css file from the plugins directory and pasting it into a custom CSS field in your Woo theme (if it offers one).
A future update to ScrapeAZon will fix this issue with WooCommerce. Thanks again for using ScrapeAZon and let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Hi there.
I’ve just discovered Scrapeazon and am trying it out.
Is there a list of options you can put in the shortcode anywhere?
I’m specifically looking for the Amazon review to open in a new window.
The target = “blank” doesn’t seem to work.
Thanks for your help – Carl

Great 5-star product
Hi, Rich.
Thanks for that! And thanks for using ScrapeAZon.
Can i display variable no of amazon customer reviews?
Hello.
Thanks for trying ScrapeAZon. It is not possible to vary the number of reviews that are displayed. That is determined by the Amazon Product Advertising API.
James
Hey James,
Great plugin. Everything works great and I love the widget. Is there a way to show different reviews based on the product in the widget? Thanks.
Josh
Hi, Josh.
If I understand your question, you want to know whether you can choose which reviews to display in the widget. Unfortunately, you can’t. The reviews that appear in the widget are delivered through an iframe directly from Amazon’s product advertising API.
Thanks for using ScrapeAZon! Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

hi James
how can I put this shortcode in a product tab?
thx
Hi, Ed!
Do you mean in a WooCommerce product tab? Unfortunately, I’m not that familiar with WooCommerce usage, although I did find this article on editing product tabs:
https://wpbean.com/add-edit-customize-woocommerce-product-tabs/
I also know of some WooCommerce users who have set up a custom “Amazon Reviews” tab for the plugin’s output.
Hope that helps! Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Hi James,
I hope this isn’t a duplicate. I got an error when posting before.
Is there any way to filter based on stars? Say 4-5 star reviews only? 80% of our product reviews are 4-5 stars and the ones with 1-3 stars are because the person isn’t using the product correctly. Besides that, I can’t imagine any users would want to display a bad review of any kind on their product. Is this something that could be added?
Thanks,
–Pete
Hello, Pete.
It is not possible to limit the reviews to only a certain number of stars because the Amazon API does not provide this functionality. It’s also against the API ToS to edit the reviews, so the plugin does not parse them (just displays them as they come from Amazon).
My Goodreads plugin (GoodReviews) does provide a stars filter function because the Goodreads API supports it.
Hope this helps, and thanks for using ScrapeAZon.

Hi,
i have this following problem http://prntscr.com/me5q3h
How can i solve it? Can you help me please? thank you
Hi, Vincenzo.
Most of the time, the 400 Bad Request error is caused by attempting to authenticate to an incorrect Amazon international API. For example, if you are pulling reviews from the Amazon Italy, you will need to sign up for an affiliate account/Product Advertising API credentials from Amazon Italy and use those credentials with the plugin.
Hope that helps!
James
I am trying to use the plugin ScrapeAZon, I have a amazon affiliates account for México but in the field: Amazon Country ID does not exist an option for México, I used the value: ES but I got the following error:
503 Service Unavailable
